The Charlton Arms is just on the edge of Ludlow where it joins Ludford Parish.
Ludford is older than Ludlow and is in the Doomsday Book. To geologists, we are on the “Ludlow Bone Bed” which was formed approx.419 Million years ago!

We are also about 88 Metres above Mean Sea Level!
Driving? We are on the B4361 just of the main A49 trunk road which by passes Ludlow.
