We’ve partnered with a local Morgan hire specialist so you can arrive, explore, and return to us in classic British style.
Imagine checking in at The Charlton Arms, collecting the keys to a gleaming Morgan, and heading off along quiet Shropshire and Welsh border roads – through hills, villages and viewpoints specially picked for you – before winding your way back to us in time for drinks on the terrace and dinner overlooking the river.

How It Works
Hire a Morgan for the day
Guests can hire a Morgan from £280 per day, with comprehensive insurance included.
- Optional Collision Damage Waiver: £25
- Tailored route guide and a QR-coded map supplied with every hire
- We can also look after your own car while you’re out enjoying the Morgan
Two-Day “Drive & Dine” Escape
Make a night of it with a two-day trip:
- Collect your Morgan and set off on a scenic loop through Shropshire and the Welsh borders
- Return to The Charlton Arms for dinner, drinks and an overnight stay
- Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading out on another recommended route, or a relaxed drive home
Delivery Option
Prefer the car to come to you? Delivery to The Charlton Arms can be arranged (subject to availability) for an additional £100, covering a two-hour round trip and two vehicles.

Every hire includes:
- A bespoke route, tailored to your interests – from sweeping countryside roads to charming market towns
- A QR-coded map for easy navigation on your phone
- Suggestions for viewpoints, coffee stops, country pubs and lunch spots along the way
Finish your day back with us: park up, freshen up in your room, then head downstairs for a relaxed dinner, local beers and a nightcap by the river.
